Just ordered a SkyGolf SkyCaddle SG4 from Golfsmith.com for $179.99. In short, it is a hand-held GPS unit which provides golfers with accurate distances to-the-hole etc. Great price, exactly what I wanted and free shipping; can’t beat that. This is part 2 of my CMU gradaution gifts. Good things always come to those who are willing to be patient [take note inthewasher].
Yesterday, I received part 1 of my CMU gifts; a golf lesson with Bill Baldwin who is a PGA Master Professional. WOW did I learn a lot in just over an hour; specifically, he identified numerous flaws in my golf swing. In addition, he provided drills and practices moves for me to work on before our next session. My goal is to see Mr. Baldwin every 2 weeks for a total of 4 times; then reevaluate my game. At this point, new clubs are on hold until my swing is refined. He gave me a lot of positive feedback, including saying “…I can see the great golfer in you, we just need to get your swing on track first.” Is there anything I’m not good at cassandra73? ;-)
Tonight the family and I are headed to see my brother and his family; as well as, my parents. Should be a lot of fun. The foolishness of my family is always entertaining; well, in brief amounts.
Looking forward to shopping with my wife on Saturday; need that new wardrobe for work. It’ll be fun to see how long she can last. Personally, I can shop all day and night. Also, Saturday night I have deemed the official dinner for recognizing my new job and graduation from CMU; calorie counting will be suspended for this meal. Not sure where we’ll be headed, although Red Lobster comes to mind.
Sunday will be busy too. Masters homework, grocery shopping, clean my car, cut the lawn and housework. Not to mention that the NFL is back; that’ll be distracting.
It should be mentioned that my wife went to the gym for four consecutive days this week. Clearly, physical fitness is becoming increasingly important to her. As well as, monitoring Little Hottie and the senior citizen tomfoolery.
Lastly, I will say this about my Masters classes. Here is what ran through my mind last night at the end of class [Advanced Simulation and Computer Modeling] “…is this really as hard as it gets?”
